GMTH International Music Theory Lectures

Music notation has always served multiple functions. As a method for communicating musical instructions, as decoration, visual art, or an attention-grabbing device. this talk, I will outline the history of music notation as a visual device.

Computational corpus analysis has been transferred from cognitive linguistics to music research for some time, but corpora of verbal texts of music theory are relatively rarely analysed.
